WSCO Petroleum Corp.
Starting with 16 locations in 1970, R.W. Dyke founded WSCO Petroleum and has grown the company into one of the largest volume independent petroleum distributors in the Pacific Northwest. Today, WSCO provides employment for more than 400 people. WSCO distributes unbranded fuel, as well as Shell, Phillips 66 (76), Chevron/Texaco and Valero branded products. Western Hyway Oil, WSCO’s transportation subsidiary, operates nine modern petroleum transport units throughout Oregon and Washington.
This family owned and operated company has 44 retail gasoline facilities in Oregon and Washington. Many locations also offer diesel and/or propane, and all have significant retail trade. Many sites also have convenience stores and/or car washes. WSCO also operates 12 company owned gas facilities (‘consigned” sites) located on leased land and operated by third party commissioned operators in conjunction with their convenience stores.
The wholesale division for WSCO Petroleum supplies fuel to more than 80 independently owned and operated retail gas sites. WSCO also does business with a network of other distributors, most of which also represent other brands, and all of which operate along side WSCO within its active market area.
